Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is W91ZLK-07-T-0475. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-07. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334516 and Small Business size standard is 500 employees. The government intends to award a firm-fixed price Purchase Order resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation to be delivered at Aberdeen Proving Gr ound, MD for the following items: CLIN 0001 - BIOMEK FX 96-CHANNEL DISPOSAL TIP PIPETTING HEAD - 200UL OR EQUIVALENT - PIPETTING HEAD FOR THE BIOMEK FX MULTI CHANNEL PIPETTOR CONFIGURED FOR AP96 HIGH OR LOW VOLUME TIPS -ITEM #719368 - 1 each. CLIN 0002 - BIOMEK SYSTEM SOFTWARE AND XP CONTROLLER OR EQUIVALENT WHICH INCLUDES: WINDOWS XP AUTOMATION CONTROLLER, 15 FLAT PANEL MONITOR, BIOMEK SYSTEM SOFTWARE - ITEM #A16170 - 1 EACH. CLIN 0003 -BIOMEK FX DISPOSABLE TIP LOADER ALP OR EQUIVALENT WHICH INCLUDES AUTO MATED TIP LOADER, TUBING, AND CAN COMMUNICATIONS CABLE. REQUIRES: 65 PSI CLEAN DRY AIR, 2.1 CFM. MAXIMUM OF 4 TIP LOADERS MAY BE INTEGRATED ON TO THE BIOMEK FX WORK AREA. THE BIOMEK FX DISPOSABLE TIP LOADER ALP PROVIDES AUTOMATED LOADING AND UNLOADING O F ALL TYPES AP96 DISPOSABLE TIPS FOR THE BIOMEK FX 96-CHANNEL PIPETTORS. The contract will be awarded to Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). The technical evaluation will be a determination as to equality of the product and shall be based on info rmation furnished by the vendor.
