Description
The Project Manager for Maneuver Ammunition Systems (PM-MAS), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ is seeking sources capable of providing one (1) dedicated full time Logistics Analyst to provide strategic planning, budget insights, research, analysis and technical assistance in support of PM-MAS programs. Additionally, assistance in planning, developing, coordinating, and defending U.S. Army positions on program management, technical, budgetary and regulatory issues in support of PM-MAS programs. Additionally, this effort shall provide support for important areas within the large caliber MAS mission that require liaison expertise and knowledge for the U.S. Army Armor Center & School at Fort Knox, KY. The contractor shall possess an in-depth knowledge of training, operation and maintenance of the Abrams tank, the 120mm smoothbore gun system and the associated 120mm main gun ammunition; as well as similar knowledge of the 105mm Mobile Gun System and the ammunition used. Expert knowledge of CCF (Computer Correction Factor) methodology, tank gunnery procedures and data analysis, as well as weapon system calibration procedures is required. A U.S. Department of Defense security clearance (minimum level ??? SECRET) allowing access to NATO and Restricted Data information is required. The candidate shall also be qualified to work Congressional issues, munitions programs, major defense acquisition programs, foreign and NATO programs, and life cycle threat support to combat and force development. Place of performance is TRADOC Capability Manager ??? Heavy Brigade Combat Team, Ft. Knox, KY. Travel (CONUS and OCONUS) is required, as necessary.
