QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 October 1984 and the requirements of FAR 9.202(a) do not apply. Prequalification of sources is essential to maintain high quality and maximum operational safety. Qualification requirements are set forth in OC-ALC Source Approval Information Booklet. Due to the complexity and criticality of this part, only actual manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company responsible for the design, or manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing on items determined by the government to be similar in complexity and criticality, can be considered approved sources for this item. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. EXPORT CONTROL: The solicitation/procurement data listed above is approved for release only to US DOD contractors who are registered and certified with the Defense Logistics Information Center (DLIS). Submission of DD2345, Military Technical Data Agreement, with your request for the solicitation is required as specified in the International Traffic and Arms Regulation (ITAR) 22 CFR sections 121 through 128. According to FAR 4.1102 (Oct 03), ?Prospective contractors shall be registered in the Central contractor Registration (CCR) managed by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) prior to award of a contract or agreement.? Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition.
