- Description
- The Regional Contracting Office ? SW Region, Marine Corps Base, and Camp Pendleton, California is conducting a Market Survey/Sources Sought Notice to determine the availability of 8(a) contractors that are capable of performing Archaeology Services. The Government anticipates that a solicitation will be issued for an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract to include a base year with the option to extend four additional one year periods. The purpose of the contract is to provide scientific, analytical, technical support to perform environmental support services at Marine Corps Installations West Base and Stations as well as other locations in Arizona, California, and Nevada where Marine Corps may require these services. Services may include, but are not limited to cultural resources evaluations, data recovery, and any other actions related to cultural resource studies, assessment, and/or mitigation. This requirement falls under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 562910, Remediation Services, and the small business size standard for this NAICS is $13.0 million. The solicitation will require the Contractor to furnish and transport all labor, materials and equipment and perform all work necessary to complete the requirements described in a specific Task Order. Marine Corps West Installation?s Point of Contact (POC) will prepare the statement of work for each Task Order under the resulting contract. The Contractor will be required to become a ?partner? in the process to ensure the best possible alliance of work efforts. The Contractor shall provide all support activities, described herein, necessary to ensure the safe and effective accomplishments of project criteria within specific completion times as indicated in the individual Task Orders. Additional requirements are identified in the attached statement of work. No final commitment has been made to procure the stated requirement and this sources sought notice should not be construed as a commitment or authorization to incur costs in anticipation of such procurement. This announcement is not a request for proposals. All interested parties shall submit a detailed written Capability Statement, which should include their experience and qualifications to perform this type of work, and a copy of their letter certifying they are an 8(a) firm. All information provided will become the property of the Marine Corps and will not be returned.
