- Work includes clearing and excavation of access road and parking facility, placement of compacted base rock and surface with aggregate, replacement of barbed wire fence and relocation of cattle guard with concrete bases and metal wings, installation of wire by-pay gate and metal gate, construction of concrete slab and information kiosk. Other work consists of excavation utility trench for both water and power, installation of new electrical panel, kiosk lighting, light pole with concrete base, and construction of water line to hydrant and water system drains. Contract time is 90 calendar days. Estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. A site visit is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. June 13, 2007. Bogard Parking Area is located approximately 32 miles north of Susanville on SR 44 in Section 33, T32N R8E. This solicitation will be available for electronic download on or about May 22, 2007.
