- Description
- The Transportation Security Administration intends to make a single source award to Miami Dade County of Miami, Florida. The resultant award will be fixed price. TSA requires the use of dark fiber optic cable at the Miami International Airport in support of the High Speed Operational Connectivity (Hi-SOC) Airport Deployment Project. The proposed contract action is for the lease, maintenance, and one time fiber and conduit installation charges of dark fiber optic cable for the Transportation Security Administration's use at this airport. The period of performance is date of award through 1 base year, with two 1 year option periods. Miami Dade County is the only provider of extra Dark Fiber available at the Miami International Airport. Miami Dade County's address is 4200 NW, 36th Street, Miami, FL 33159.
