- SOURCES SOUGHT Airfield Rubber Removal and Paint for Altus AFB Oklahoma The purpose of this sources sought notice is to obtain information from capable firms with the ability to perform airfield rubber removal, to include airfield painting, contract at Altus AFB, Oklahoma. The government is seeking interested 8(a) certified firms who can perform the rubber removal and paint contract (NAICS Code 237310, Size Standard $31M) The rubber removal and paint shall be an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for real property maintenance, and repair projects to include runways, taxiways, and aprons. The work shall be located at Altus AFB, located in Jackson County Oklahoma, Clinton Sherman Airport, in Burns Flat, Oklahoma, and Sooner Drop Zone (SDZ) located at T 1 N, R 24 W, Section 11 of Harmon County Oklahoma and is approximately 27 miles West and 6 miles South of Altus Air Force Base. Each delivery order will identify a general scope of work. Work shall include tasks in trades related to rubber removal and painting of airfields. The contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, tools, transportation, travel, equipment, materials and any other incidentals necessary to perform. The contract will be awarded with a base period of 1 year and 2 option years. The government anticipates the total estimated maximum value of the contract to be between $1M and $5M over the 3 year term. Interested sources should respond by 21 May and provide the following: Name of firm, address, phone, fax, email, cage code, and website if applicable. The contractor should also provide a listing of any government or commercial construction contracts held over the last 3 years that are similar in complexity and magnitude to the requirements of this contract. The listing should include; project title, dollar value, and project length/performance period.
