- Description
- It is the intent of this agency to award sole source under FAR Part 13.302 a simplified, firm fixed price purchase order. The sole source will be under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This agency intends to award to Honeywell Products, 5307 Industrial Oaks Ste # 130, Austin, TX 78735-8821. Statement of Work: The contractor shall provide all personnel, tools, communication equipment, materials, transportation, supervision, and other items necessary to install a complete, operational and certifiable access control intrusion detection system upgrade; to include wiring, balanced magnetic switches, magnetic locks, five as built drawings and additional items. The contractor shall remove existing wiring as appropriate. The system utilized is the Vindicator Security Management and Reporting Terminal (SMART), providing security up to the NATO level. The contractor shall have Honeywell integrator training for highly complex base upgrade projects as well as the technical training and experience to install Vindicator V5 components. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all proposals received by the closing date and time will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any vendors who believe they can provide these supplies/services and meet all requirements should email or fax their company's capability information to the attention of Lt Joe Adams by 1600 EST, 11 May, 2007. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 335999, with a small business size standard of 500 employees.
