- Special Notice: Carpet/Tile Removal & Installation This requirement is being advertised pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101(a)(2). Vendors will need to bid on all or none of the required items. There are two separate requirements listed below; please combine pricing for the two projects. This is request # F2V3F97071A100 for quotation for the item(s) listed below. Provide all labor, tools and materials necessary to remove existing carpet, and install porcelain tile with 4? rubber base in building 107 in accordance with Statement of Work. RFQ # F2V3F97071A100 Statement of Work - F2V3F97071A100 1.0 Remove Existing carpet and Install 12? x 12? Porcelain tiles Building 107: The Contractor shall remove existing carpet, prepare floor to receive 12? x 12? porcelain tile, install 1/8? x 4? x 4? rubber cove base, and door and finish transitions in the north hallway and vending machine area. 1.2 Scheduling Work: Facility and equipment shall be protected during project, and will remain operational. Duty hours are 0700-1600, Monday-Friday (optional). 1.3 Furniture Moving: Contractor shall be responsible for the removal/lifting of all furniture (3 vending machines). 1.4 Demolition: During the demolition process the contractor shall cut and patch to match existing construction. 1.5 Installation: The contractor shall install approximately 236 square feet of 12? x 12? Porcelain tile, 205 lineal feet of 1/8? x 4? x 4? cove base, and 11 door and finish transition strips (Selections by the customer). The contractor shall insure the floor is prepared to receive the new porcelain tile. After tile is laid, it should present a smooth (level) finish. Cove base shall present a finished look where top makes contact with all and transitions at doors and hallway. All door transitions shall be installed not to obstruct door operation. 1.6 Cleaning and Disposal: The contractor is responsible to remove and dispose of all building material (debris) off MacDill AFB. 1.7 Material specification ? or equal: * 5/6? x 12? x 12? Porcelain tile; Dal Porcealto * 1/8? x 4? x 4? Johnsonite Commercial Cove base * Transition: Johnsonite T-Track w/vinyl insert This is request # F2V3F97071A200 for quotation for the item(s) listed below. Provide all labor, tools and materials necessary to remove and replace carpet and cove base; replace stair treads and risers, and install vinyl composition tiles on landings in building 307 in accordance with attached Statement of Work. F2V3F97071A200 1.1 Stairwell: Remove Existing carpet, Stair Treads; Install 12? x 12? vinyl Composition tiles, Stair Treads and Risers West Stairwell Building 307: The Contractor shall remove existing stair treads and carpet, prepare floor to receive new stair treads and risers, 12? x 12? vinyl composition tile, and 1/8? x 4? x 4? rubber cove base. Note: Reuse existing carpet cap at carpet base. 1.2 Drill Practice Area Remove existing carpet and install matching carpet and base building 307: The contractor shall remove existing carpet, prepare floor to receive new carpet and carpet base around dill (practice) area. 1.3 Scheduling work: Facility and equipment shall be protected during project, and will remain operational. Duty hours are 0700-1600, Monday-Friday (optional). 1.4 Furniture Moving: Contractor shall be responsible for the removal/lifting of all furniture. 1.5 Demolition: During the demolition process the contractor shall cut and patch to match existing construction. 1.6 Installation: The contractor shall install approximately 158 square feet of Vinyl Composition tile, 114 square yards Carpet, 30 lineal feet of 1/8? x 4? x 4? cove base, and 21 stair treads and risers (Color selections by customer). The contractor shall insure the floors are prepared to receive the new carpet and vinyl composition tiles, stair treads and risers. After product is laid, it should present a smooth (level) finish. Cove base shall present a finished look where top makes contact with all and transitions at doors and hallway. All door transitions shall be installed not to obstruct door operation. 17. Cleaning and Disposal: The contractor is responsible to remove and dispose of all building material (debris) off MacDill AFB. 1.8 Material specification ? or equal: * Carpet ?
