Description: The Maryland National Guard, Gaithersburg,MD Olney Readiness Center involves the design and construction of a single unit Armory for an 85 person Area Supprot Medical Company. The facility will have six permanent personnel and seventy nine part-time guard reserve personnel. The proposed armory consists of a single strucure of approximately 28,958 SF. An adequate storm water run-off system , site developement and landscaping; parking and circulation for twenty five (25) light military vehicles; parkin g and circulation for seventy three (73) privtely owned vehicles; site access road; site fencing upgrade, vault intrusion detection (IDS), building energy and security management systems, military vehicle parking, fencing, lighting and project utilites. (N OTE: Only public utilities available at site are electric, water and phone.)
