- See numbered Note #22. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Research Development and Engineering Center (RDEC) plans to award a sole source contract to Georgia Technical Research Institute (GTRI) to obtain state of the art technology research to include technology insertion planning and execution; development of research and engineering strategies to mitigate risk in aviation and missile systems and technology programs; design and develop hardware and software models and prototypes; perform te chnology and engineering analyses, including systems engineering to support design, development, interoperability and testing of unique technological hardware and software at the component, subsytems, and system level, and; quantify corresponding impacts o n composite system performance.
