Description
Solicitation Number W9128F-07-T-0037 This solicitation may result in two awards. On or about 04 May 2007, this office will issue a request for Quote for five (5) air compressors for the Big Bend Project, Fort Thompson, SD. Quotes will be due on 01 June 20007 at 2 PM. This solicitation is set aside for small business participation onl y under the NAICS Code 333912 with a size standard of 500 employees. This work will include the following: The Big Bend Power Plant depressing air compressors provide compressed air to 14 receiver tanks, each having a capacity of 515-cubic-feet. Including the 10 header pipe and receiver piping, the total storage capacity for the depressing air system is 7640-cubic-feet. Each of the three existing depressing air compressor individually supplies receiver storage tanks 1, 2, and 3, respectively. All storage tanks are connected to a common 10 header pipe. As a result, com pressed air supplied to storage tanks 1, 2, and 3 is then feed into the 10 header, and into the remaining 11 storage tanks. The service station air compressors provide compressed air throughout the powerhouse for various systems, control valves, and othe r instruments. The existing depressing and service station air compressors are outdated and in need of replacement. Please be advised of on-line registration requirement in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database http://www.ccr.gov/ and directed solicitation provisions concerning electronic annual On-line Representations and Certification (ORCA) at Representa tions and Certifications are required to be updated annually as a minimum to keep information current, accurate and complete. The electronic annual representations and certifications are effective until one year from date of submission or update to ORCA.
