- Description
- This is a synopsis for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The contractor shall furnish personnel with specialized skills as acupuncturist, m assage therapist and accupressurist to the military treatment facilities in the National Capital Area (NCA), specifically Walter Reed Army Medical Center, 6900 Georgia Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20307, solicitation number W91YTZ-07-R-0078. The period of pe rformance for this effort will be five (5) years from date of award (Base year plus four options). Services will be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the profession and applicable professional specialty organizati ons, Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) standards, applicable Department of Defense (DoD) and service specific medical regulations and policies, and Military Treatment Facility policies and procedures. The contract employ ee shall provide services in conjunction with other non-contract providers to include physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistant s, registered and licensed practical nurses, and support personnel. Offerors shall provide detailed information of th eir capabilities and certifications to clearly meet the requirements stated above. Award of this NO-COST contract will be made based upon years of experience and personnel qualifications. As consideration for the services provided, the selected offeror wi ll have the use of office space and utilities. THIS WILL BE A NO-COST CONTRACT.
