- The United States Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity intends to award a contract on a non-competitive basis for the refurbishment of Pulse Oximeter / Pressure Evaluation Implants: A system for Monitoring Blood and Tissue Oxygen Pressure.. T he anticipated award will be made under the Authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, to Konigsberg Instruments, 2000 East Foothill Boulevard, Pasadena, CA 91107. Specifically, FAR 6.302-1(b)(2), states, the existenc e of limited rights in data&make the supplies&available from only once source. The United States Army Medical Institute for Infectious Disease (USAMRIID) had these implants developed by Konigsberg through two earlier contract actions. Konigsberg in the only organization to possess the necessary drawings and skills to perform these r efurbishments. . THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. Telephone requests or inquiries will not be accepted. Responses to this electronic notice must be made by 5:00 PM on May 22, 2007.
