REANNOUNCEMENT OF ROADS CONSTRUCTION PROJECT M.O.I.R. CHIP SEAL NO. 2: The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Western Regional Office, seeks Indian-Owned Construction Firms which can provide all labor, materials, equipment and services to scrub seal, hot asphalt rubber chip seal coat, final fog seal and pavement markings on 1.018 miles of Route 101 in Mohave County, Arizona; and 0.720 miles of Route 201 in San Bernardino County, California; AND pavement marking on 3.020 miles of Routes 2 and 3 in Mohave County, Arizona. Total project length: 4.758 miles. Fort Mojave Indian Reservation, Arizona and California. Estimated Price Range is $250,000 to $500,000. ISSUE DATE o/a 18 MAY 2007. BID OPENING DATE o/a 21 JUNE 2007. THIS PROCUREMENT IS SET-ASIDE FOR 51% INDIAN-OWNED AND CONTROLLED FIRMS UNDER THE "BUY INDIAN ACT." 25 U.S.C. 47, Section 7(b) of P.L. 93-638 (25 U.S.C. 450e) requires that preference opportunities in employment and training be given to Indian/Alaska Native individuals and that preference in award of subcontracts be given to Indian/Alaska Native economic enterprises. Indian firms bidding under this Act must self-certify they are eligible under the "Buy Indian Act." CONTRACTOR MUST BE REGISTERED IN CENTRAL CONTRACTOR'S REGISTER (CCR) TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD.
