Description

REANNOUNCEMENT OF ROADS CONSTRUCTION PROJECT FAIR 55(4): The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Western Regional Office, seeks construction firms which can provide all labor, materials, equipment and services to ot asphalt rubber chip seal coat, final fog seal, pavement markings and install guardrail system (1,093 L.F.) on 7.433 miles of Route 55, White Mountain Apache Indian Reservation, Navajo County, Arizona. Bids shall be in conformance with the Unit Bid Schedule. Estimated Price Range is $500,000 - $1,000,000.00. ISSUE DATE o/a 17 MAY 2007. BID OPENING DATE: 19 JUNE 2007. THIS PROCUREMENT IS SET ASIDE FOR 51% INDIAN-OWNED AND CONTROLLED FIRMS UNDER THE "BUY INDIAN ACT." 25 U.S.C. 47, Section 7(b) of P.L. 93-638 (25 U.S.c. 450e) requires that preference opportunities in employment and training be given to Indian/Alaska Native individuals and that preference in award of subcontracts be given to Indian/Alaska Native economic enterprises. Indian firms bidding under this Act must self-certify they are eligible under the "Buy Indian Act." CONTRACTOR MUST BE REGISTERED INCENTRAL CONTRACTOR'S REGISTER (CCR) TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD.
