- Furnish labor, equipment, supplies, and materials, except for Government furnished property, to remove approximately 1, 116 rods of 5-wire barbed fence, 300 rods of woven wire fence and replace with 1,416 rods of 5-wire (all barbed) fence. Work will include 1) Mobilization, 1 ea; 2) Barbed Wire Fence (5-wire), 1,416 rods; 3) Barbed Wire Fence Removal, 1,416 rods; 4) Barbed Wire End panel, 17 ea; 5) Barbed Wire Stress Panel, 15 ea; 6) Five Post Corner, 1 ea; 7) Barbed Wire Gate, 9 ea; 8) Wood Post (Brace), 6 ea. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238990. The Small business size standard is $13.0 million. This is set aside for Small Business Concerns (see Note 1). Work under this contract is located in Butte County, South Dakota. The contractor will have fifty seven (57) calander days after Notice to Proceed is issued to complete the project. The work will start on/about July 16, 2007. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. A 100 percent payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $30,000. Payment Protection will be due PRIOR to issuance of the Notice to Proceed and can be submitted by an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. Prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR and ORCA databases will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov., and Annual Representations and Certifications (ORCA) online at http://orca.bpn.gov. The solicitation will be posted during the week of May 21, 2007. No hard copies of the solicitation will be sent out by this office and will be available at "http://ideasec.nbc.gov". Response date for quotes will be on/about June 20, 2007. The exact closing date will be posted in the RFQ.
