Description

7-2519-0017 The U.S. Geological Survey, South Carolina Water Science Center intends to make a sole source award to Edwin A. Roehl of Advanced Data Mining Services (ADMS), LLC, Greenville, South Carolina to obtain consulting services. Mr.Roehl and ADMS will provide technical services to the Everglades Hydrology and human Impacts Study. The study is part of the Greater Everglades Priority Ecosystem study of the USGS. Mr. Roehl will need to develop a data viewer, artificial neural network (ANN) models, and a decision support system (DSS) for the Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) and major enhancement to the Snail Kite DSS. He has scientific/engineering knowledge plus experience in understanding and modeling estuaries and rivers in South Carolina, Georgia, Wisconsin, Oregon and Florida. He is considered well skilled in his field. THIS ACQUISITION WILL BE MADE UNDER THE SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES. Proposal due date 05/10/2007. The anticipated award date 05/11/2007. The NAICS code is 541710. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTES. Information will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
