- SPAWAR Systems Center Charleston intends to enter into a sole source contract with Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Tactical Systems Division of Carson CA for a Cost-Plus Fixed Fee, IDIQ delivery order contract to provide enhanced Tactical Automated Security System (eTASS) version 6 surveillance, detection and assessment equipment, site surveys, integration, installation and technical support for various locations both CONUS and OCONUS. TASS is an advanced open-systems command-and-control platform incorporated with standoff and perimeter-detection technology, immediate visual assessment, command-and-control display equipment and supporting power and communications infrastructures. These systems will support the operational requirements of high value Marine Corps activities where security is of high or vital interest. The contract will be a performance based, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity, Cost plus fixed fee type contract with Completion and Level of Effort type task orders. The contract will be issued for eighteen (18) months. The IGE for this effort is estimated to be $8.8 million. The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 541330. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Any questions relating to this announcement are due by 6 June 2007 no later than 1100.
