Description: The USDA, Agricultural Research Service in Albany, California has a requirement to conduct a study for determining/calculating the glycemic index (GI) in legume-based test foods. Interested firms shall describe their standard protocol for determining the GI that will require at least 10 normal subjects. The results of this study will be provided to the USDA through a written report. The Government intends to negotiate with the only known responsible source, Glycemic Index Laboratories.
