Description

Replace Roof, Georgetown Project Office, Solicitation No. W9126G-07-T-0132. All questions concerning any part of the specifications or the preparation of the quotation shall be addressed in writing to Email: Jean.Ross@swf02.usace.army.mil. All questi ons will be addressed as promptly as possible by return email. All prospective contractors are highly recommended to participate in the site visit and address your questions. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, and material to install structural sheathing over existing membrane roofing system and apply a sprayed-in-place polyurethane foam insulation covered with a Elastomeric (or equal) roof coating as per manufacturer's installation instructions. LOCATION - Georgetown Project Office is located at 500 Lake Overlook Drive, Georgetown, Texas. This contract is a firm fixed price construction contract with a magnitude of $25,000 to $100,000. This is an UNRESTRICED solicitation under Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. No Public Bid Opening due to this action being a Request for Quotations (RFQ). No HUBZone Price Preference due to under $100,000 requirement. Bid Bond (20% of Bid Price) is required to submit with bid package. Performance Bond (100%) and Payment Bond (100%) are required to submit within 10 days after contract award. The Contractor shall be required to (a) commence work under this contract within twenty (20) calendar days after contract award, (b) prosecute the work diligently, and (c) complete the entire work ready for use not later than sixty (60) calendar days from the commencement of work. * The time stated for completion shall include final cleanup of the premises. Liquidated damages of $100 per each calendar day are applicable. Davis Bacon Wage Decisions are applicable. OFFERORS INFORMATION: 1. All prospective offerors are advised to visit the Georgetown Project Office prior to placing a formal proposal. 2. For arrangements for a site visit, please call Randy Hammock at phone number 254-760-4091 Monday thru Friday from 8:00 AM TO 4:30 PM. All questions regarding this requirement/RFQ shall be provided in writing to Jean.Ross@swf02.usace.army.mil. NO QUESTIONS SHALL BE ANSWERED AT THE SITE VISIT - NO EXCEPTIONS. To be consider RESPONSIVE - The Contractor shall comply with all requirement of the solicitation. Plans and specifications will not be provided in a paper hard copy format. Notification of amendments shall be made through the Internet. The Government Reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation. It is therefore the contractors responsibility to check daily for any posted changes to this solicitation.
