Description: The purpose of the project is to secure services for non-commercial thinning of conifer trees and slash treatment (hand piling) on selected areas on the North Fork John Day Ranger District of the Umatilla National Forest. Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals to perform all work specified. Estimated start work date is June 25, 2007 through September 30, 2007. Solicitation packages will be available for free download at www.fedbizopps.gov. The anticipated issuance date of the solicitation is May 24, 2007 with Quotes due C.O.B. 4:30pm, June 7, 2007. Quotes will be submitted to the following address: Deschutes National Forest, 1001 S.W.
