Description
The National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) plans to procure the service of Duke University Medical Center for development and Implementation of a model for on-line training. The contractor will: a) Develop a program web-page with information about program content and structure, how to prepare for on-line learning, resources required to participate, the faculty and frequently asked questions; b) Develop six on-line courses based on existing CRPT program core courses (Principles of Clinical Research, Responsible Conduct of Research and Research Management) and electives such as Clinical Trials and Genetic Analysis and one Practicum course; c) Develop a student support system using existing on-line campus on-line infrastructure, faculty mentors and periodic group seminars; d) Deliver on-line courses using Blackboard? platform supported by Duke University. This the second phase of the initial set up in 2005. All responsible businesses that are capable of providing the Government with the items that are listed above may request a copy of the Request for Quote (RFQ) in writing or by FAX to 301-480-8501 to the Contracting Office prior to the closing date of this notice. It is anticipated that RFQ NIH-NIDDK-07-218 will be available fifteen (15) days after the publication date of this synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be due ten (10) days after the release of the RFQ. The anticipated award date is May 31, 2007. Request for copies of the RFQ must be submitted to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, 6707 Democracy Boulevard, Two Democracy Plaza, Room 774B, Bethesda, MD 20817 or via email: griffinv@mail.nih.gov to the Attention: V. Lynn Griffin. FAX quotations must contain offerors name, address, telephone number and fax number. FAX quotations will be accepted if dated and signed by an authorized company representative. All requests for quotations should have a valid email address.
