Description
DEPARTMENT OF LABOR Notice of Contract Close-out This notice is not limited to the NAICS code shown above. Notice is being given by the Department of Labor to holders of certain contractual actions that these actions will be closed out. The contractual actions affected by this notice are those for which the period of performance has expired or final delivery has occurred five years prior to the date of this posting. This serves as notice that any persons believing they have claims under those contracts should submit them for consideration. This will serve as notice that the Office of Procurement Services (OPS), Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management (OASAM) of the United States Department of Labor (DOL) is in the process of closing out certain contractual actions. These actions, for which the period of performance has expired or final delivery has occurred five years prior to the date of this publication, may be identified by either of the following issuing office identifiers for these contractual actions: 1. Procurement Services Center, Frances Perkins Building 2. Office of Procurement Services OPS believes that all performance under these contracts has now been ceased or has completed and all claims are resolved. All persons who believe they may have an unresolved claim against the Department of Labor under any of these contracts should present such claims in accordance with the procedures of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 33.2, within 30 days of the posting date of this notice. All such claims must meet the requirements of the Contract Disputes Act of 1978, as amended, 41 U.S.C. ?601, et seq., and FAR 33.206, and should contain: 1) evidence that the contract was awarded by OASAM/OPS; 2) a statement of the basis for the claim; 3) a copy of the contract and any other documentary evidence establishing a right to payment. Claims exceeding $100,000 should be certified in accordance with FAR 33.207. All claims must be sent to the following address: Contracting Officer, U.S. Department of Labor OASAM ?
