Description
Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitat ion; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F9N6CE-7128-A002 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Quotations shall be received in the contracting office by 4:30 p.m. (MST), May 1 6, 2007. The RFQ shall result in a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. This solicitation is 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 238110. The Small Business Size Standard is $13.0 M illion. The USPFO for Utah has a requirement to provide and paint shop floors in three buildings at the Utah Air National Guard Base. Work will consist of the following: Contractor shall prepare surfaces for painting to include removal of existing floor paint by sandblasting and grinding floors. After removal of existing surfaces, contractor shall remove and dispose of all paint and debris in accordance with State and local codes. Contractor shall ensure floors are clean and all cracks and joints are f illed prior to installation of new paint. Contractor shall then install three coats of general polymers as follows: (1) One primer coat, (2) one high chemical resistant epoxy body coat and (3) one high chemical resistant topcoat, with abraded surface. Bu ildings requiring paint are Building 25, approximately 4000 square feet; Building 112, approximately 3765 square feet; and Building 407, approximately 2240 square feet. The Utah Air National Guard Base personnel shall choose color of floor paint. Upon co mpletion, Contractor shall thoroughly clean areas affected by work. The Offerors shall be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Only contractors registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) can be awarded the contract. Offerors shall have electronic funds transfer (EFT) capability. Offerors proposals shall be valid for a minimum of 30 days to be acknowledged in the offerors proposal. In accordance with FAR52.212-2 Evaluation of Commercial Items (Jan 1999) (a), The Government intends to make an award to the Contractor who submits the lowest, technically responsive p roposal, and is deemed acceptable and responsible by the Contracting Officer.
