- The work to be performed includes the following items: (1) constructing and removing temporary road, 2) saw cutting perimeter of damaged concrete, (3) removing damaged concrete, (4) cleaning, repairing and/or replacing damaged reinforcement, (5) placing new concrete in areas to be repaired using replacement concrete (from near horizontal to near vertical repairs), (6) demolishing existing walls, replacing reinforcement and warped formwork and placing concrete, (7) providing for pressurized resin injection crack sealing/repair, (8) providing for a two-component polymer and aggregate repair area for spalled concrete, and (9) excavating, backfilling, seeding and slope shaping areas at various areas. The work under these specifications is located at three different sites. The work at Flatiron Dam is located in Larimer County, approximately 8 miles southwest of Loveland, Colorado. The work at Rattlesnake Dam is located in Larimer County, approximately 12 miles southwest of Loveland, Colorado. The work at Big Thompson Diversion Structure is also located in Larimer County, approximately 8.5 miles west of Loveland, Colorado. The bid opening date is tentatively scheduled for July 10, 2007 at the Bureau of Reclamation's Great Plains Regional Office, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana. The solicitation packages are scheduled to be available on or around June 8, 2007. There is no charge for the first copy; additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 per set. All reasonable sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. The estimated price range of this acquisition is $250,000 to $500,000. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 238110. The small business size standard is $13.0 Million. This acquisition is unrestricted. This specifications and drawings will be not posted to the internet; however a complete solicitation package is available in hard copy. To request a hard copy of the solicitation, contractors must fax a request to (406) 247-7798, Attn: Hart BlackEagle. The request must include contractor's name, address, phone/fax numbers, tax identification number and their Dun and Bradstreet number. Note 1: Effective October 1, 2003, any contractor interested in doing business with the Federal Government must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration. Contractors may register at http://www/ccr/gov Note 2: Effective January 1, 2005, any contractor submitting a quotation, offer or proposal to the Government must complete their Representations and Certifications online. All representations and certifications which used to appear in Section K of Bureau of Reclamation Solicitations are now online.
