Description

The U.S. Special Operations Command,Technology Applications Contracting Office intends to procure specialized services to remove Special Operations Forces unique components from seventeen (17) MH-47E aircraft prior to induction at Boeing Helicopter for a Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) overhaul. The intended source for the services is Summit Aviation Inc. of 4200 Summit Bridge RD, Middletown, DE 19709-0258. The authority and justification is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302 ?1, ?Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.? A Firm Fixed Price Type contract is contemplated. This is a DOA1 rated order. The North American Industrial Classification code is 488190 The anticipated award date is 18 May 2007. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Proposals are being accepted through mail, e-mail: aelder@tapo.eustis.army.mil.
