- Description
- Construction of a new Customer Service Postal facility containing approximately 19,200 sq ft of floor space located at the corner of Greenbrook Blvd & 59th Avenue East. The work includes, but is not limited to, steel frame, concrete, masonry carpentry, modified bitumen roofing, insulation, hollow metal doors, metal studs, gyp board, ceramic tile, resilient flooring, vinyl composition tile flooring, carpet, painting, store fixtures, electrical, mechanical, utilities, landscaping and other work associated with postal facilities. Bonds must be received within 10 days from receipt of Intent to Award. Contractors will be evaluated based on references showing similar construction experience. Contractors must have a EMR (Experience Modification Ratio) of less than 1.0 to be considered. Anticipated approval of funds is June 4, 2007. Notice to Proceed with construction will be issued no later than July 30th. Cost range: $5,015,000 - $6,195,000 Const. time: 365 calendar days. Minimum Years in Business: Your company must have been in business, under the firm?s present name, for a minimum of five (5) consecutive years. No Proposal Guarantee (Bid Bond) is required but a letter from your bonding company and bank ARE required (see Offerors Submittal Information). A 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond will be required of the successful offeror. Proposal Receipt Location: Southeast Facilities Service Office, U. S.
