Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (CSS) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12  Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13  Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemen ted with additional information included in this notice. This CSS is being issued as a Brand Name or Equal in accordance with FAR provision 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal (Aug 1999). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicita tion will not be issued. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 7371 and The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541511 with a size standard of $21.0 Mil. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-16 effective 22 March 2007 & Class Deviation 2005-o0001 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARs), 1998 Edition, current to DCN 20070327. It is anticipated that payment wil l be made by Government VISA Credit Card. The contractors proposal shall consist of Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001, Quantity: 20, Unit of Issue: Each, Description: TDS Rugged Recon PDA with Vehicle Brackets  RECON 400X  Model Number RE3-MC4CMX-0 0N1 - to include the following: Windows Mobile 5 operating system, 400 Mhz Intel Xscale processor 1 type I and 1 type II, Compact flash slots, removable and rechargeable NiMH battery pack, Standard DB-9 9-pin D-Shell, RS-232 Serial port, Standard USB port connectors, -22F to 140F operating temperature range, Waterproof for 30 minutes at 1 meter depth, Cap Cover for waterproofing, and covering compact flash cards with cable pass through; Brackets, Model Number REC-Z5016. All proposals shall be clearly mark ed with Solicitation Number W9124R-07-T-1060 and emailed to the address listed in the contact information below no later than 3:00 PM MST, May 15, 2007. Offers that fail to furnish required representations required by FAR 52.212-1 cited below or reject t he terms and conditions of this solicitation may be excluded from consideration. The Government intends to award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government based on techn ical acceptability and price.
