Description
The U.S. Army, Corps of Engineers, Memphis District, has a requirement for the above subject. This is not a Solicitation Announcement or a Request for Proposal and does not obligate the Government to any contract award. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to determine interest and capability of potentially qualified/certified, businesses, relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 237990. Your firm must be registered in the CCR under the above listed NAICS code i n order to be considered for award. To make appropriate acquisitions for the above project, the Government, will use responses to this sources sought synopsis and possible future projects as determined to be in the best interest of the Government. The or der of magnitude, for this effort is estimated to be between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This project is as follows: The Lower Obion River Basin Ecosystem Restoration includes the mitigation of three projects sites in the vicinity of Dyersburg, TN . The project will include reforestation, wetland restoration, and restoration of waterfowl habitat. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor and materials for the construction of Lower Obion River Basin Ecosystem Restoration, to include low wate r semi-compacted levee embankments, excavated drainage swales, fabricating and installing water control structures, well drilling and pump installation, clearing, grubbing and disposal of debris, aggregate road surfacing, establishment of turf, and environ mental protection. S. Army Corps of Engineers, 167 N. Main Street B-202, Memphis, Tennessee 38103. Response must be received no later than 11:00 a.m. Central Standard Time, on May 16, 2007. The following information is requested: (1) Name of firm w/address, telephone, fax n umber, e-mail address, and point of contact. (2) State your company business type (small, large, hub-zone, service-disabled veteran, women-owned, etc.) (3) State whether your firm can provide an Irrevocable Letter of Credit or a Payment Bond (100% of t he contract amount). In order to qualify your firm must have the capabilities to perform this services listed in this announcement. Responses to this sources sought synopsis shall indicate specialized experience and technical competence in the subject ma tter above and all other work associated with the general work requirement of this project. Evaluation(s) will consider overall experience. Also provide documentation for your firm on past performance as a prime contractor. Please provide any past perfo rmance on projects of similar nature. Submission Requirements: Firms submitting responses shall present their information in a matrix format showing contracts they have performed. The matrix shall show the most recent five projects that prove you can me et each qualification criteria listed above. It shall include contract number, project title and location, description of work, and a point of contact and telephone number for each. Firms should also indicate all applicable personnel and sub-contractors proposed to work on the contract as well as a list of equipment. Firms who fail to provide ALL of the required information requested, will not be considered by the Government while making the acquisition decision for this sources sought announcement.
