- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. THERE WILL NOT BE A SOLICITATION, SPECIFICATIONS OR DRAWINGS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. A Market Research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources. The solicitation number for this announcement will be determined at a later date. The Reference Number for this Notice is N69450-IPTGC-JJ1. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southeast, is currently seeking potential sources for a combination firm fixed price (FFP) and indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) type contract with a base period of twelve months and four (4) one-year option periods. The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 562111, Solid Waste Collection Services. The Small Business Size Standard is $11,500,000.00. The intention of the solicitation will be to obtain Solid Waste Collection Services primarily for the Naval Air Station (NAS) Corpus Christi, TX Region including Naval Station (NAVSTA) Ingleside, TX and Naval Air Station (NAS), Kingsville, TX. These services are to be obtained by means of a combination firm-fixed price and indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to provide the service at the Naval Air Station (NAS) Corpus Christi, TX Region including Naval Station (NAVSTA) Ingleside, TX and Naval Air Station (NAS) Kingsville, TX. This requirement is being processed in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and source selection procedures will be utilized in conducting the competitive negotiation, which consists of the submission of price and technical proposals. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose proposal, as it conforms to the solicitation requirements, represents the best value to the Government. Anticipate the solicitation will be released on or about 01 June 2007 with the closing date approximately 30 days after posting. In accordance with FAR 5.102(c)(1) availability of the solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium and the Government will NOT provide copies. IT IS THE GOVERNMENT?S INTENTION TO ISSUE THE SOLICITATION EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH THE INTERNET WEBSITE AT http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. The entire solicitation will be available at the site for viewing or downloading. This will normally be the only method of distribution of amendments; therefore IT IS THE OFFERORS RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION. The Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any proposal. The official plan holders list will be maintained on, and can be printed from the internet site: http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. All prospective offerors shall register as plan holders on the internet website for this solicitation. Each company must indicate if it is a prime contractor or subcontractor. The Government anticipates utilizing a 5 year period of performance for the follow-on contract with a base and four option periods of 12 months. A pre-proposal conference and site visit will be held and the date, time and location will be provided/specified in the solicitation. The apparent successful offeror must be registered in the Department of Defense Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database with a DUNS number prior to contract award.
