****IMPORTANT CONTACT INFORMATION, PLEASE CONTACT GLENDA MORGAN AT glenda.morgan@msfc.nasa.gov OR MARY BRINKLEY AT mary.m.brinkley@nasa.gov ONLY FOR ANY TECHNICAL OR QUOTE INFORMATION SEE CONTACT INFORMATION WITHIN THE BODY OF THE SOLICITATION**** This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for a product that is name brand or equal to the following: (1 ea) Pipe sawing and beveling system that will cover a pipe size ranges from 1 inch nominal to 4 inch nominal and 6 inch nominal to 8 inch nominal. The system shall consist of 2 sawing and beveling units with one unit being a George Fischer RA4H and the other being a Geroge Fischer RA8H or equivalent offerings. Both units shall be capable of handling schedule 40, stainless steel pipe. The larger unit shall include an AVM automatic feed unit for the saw. Each cutting unit shall mount to an included roller type pipe feeder table (one set of tables for each saw), with extension tables, that will support the pipe being cut or beveled in 20' lengths. The feed table will include sufficient adjustment to ensure the operator can center the pipe saw with the pipe. The units shall produce square cuts and 37 degree welding preparation bevels. The 4 inch nominal unit will have a wall thickness capacity of 0.276" and the 8 inch nominal unit shall have a wall thickness capacity of 0.394". The units shall operate on 120 VAC single phase power. Two each extra sawing and belveling blades shall be included with each unit. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 333512 NAICS CODE AND REVENUE OR NUMBER OF EMPLOYEES 500 respectively. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for this procurement. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to Mashall Space Flight Center Delivery shall be FOB destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is D0-C9. Offers for the item(s) described above are due 5-21-2007 by 4:00 p.m. Central/Standard time and must include, solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration, and be signed by an authorized company representative. Offerors shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1 (JAN 2006), Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, which is incorporated by reference. If the end product(s) offered is other than domestic end product as defined in the clause entitled "Buy American Act--Supplies," the offeror shall so state and shall list the country of orgin. FAR 52.212-4 (FEB 2007), Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial items is applicable. FAR 52.212-5 (NOV 2006), Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Order-Commercial Items is applicable and the following identified clauses are incorporated by reference: 52.219-6, 52.222-3, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-3, 52.225-13, and 52.232.33. Selection and award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror, Technically acceptability will be determined by review of information submitted by the offeror which must provide a description in sufficient detail to show that the product offered meets the Government's requirement.
