Description
THIS PROJECT WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR REVIEWING AND PRINTING IN APPROXIMATELY 1 DAY. Depending on available funding, contract work may include the following: removal, breakdown and incorporation into the base of the existing double chip-seal BST surfacing from roads, spurs and parking areas; construction of new asphalt surfacing on roads, spurs and parking areas; patching of the existing BST surfacing on one interior road and placement of a new BST overlay; widening and/or lengthening eight spurs to accommodate two vehicles; demolition and removal of the existing cinderblock and wood frame six-unit flush toilet building, sidewalks and adjoining changing rooms consisting of a concrete pad with wooden partitions; site prep for the installation of a new prefabricated concrete four-unit flush toilet building; construction of asphalt pathways around the new building and within the campground areas; site prep for the installation of a new prefabricated concrete one-unit vault toilet near the beach parking area; reconstruction and possible relocation of family camp units including removal of BST surfacing, cedar bender-board retainers; installation of new polyboard landscape edger and fine-graded aggregate surfacing; installation of new campground furniture including picnic tables, fire rings, food lockers and utility tables; removal of the existing potable water, irrigation water and electric lines which are located in a common trench through much of the area; relocation and installation of new potable water, irrigation water and electric lines and associated valves, hydrants, sprinklers, and panel connections; removal and replacement of gates and dumpster pads; reconstruction of the existing approximately 1800-foot long lakeside trail including removal of existing BST surfacing, relocation of short sections of trail, installation of sections of native rock retaining wall, and construction of a new hardened surface; and the construction or installation of misc site amenities including aggregate and surfaced trails, speed bumps, curb stops, traffic control signs and bollards, and utility hookups at the Host Site. All work must be completed in one season estimated to begin July 1 and completed by mid-October. NAICS code: 237990. Size Standard: $31.0 Million. Estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. Point Campground is part of the Redfish Lake Complex located south of Stanley, Idaho. From Stanley, proceed south for 4 miles on Hwy 75 to the turnoff of Redfish Lake Road #214. Proceed southwest on the Redfish Lake Road for approximately 2 miles to the junction with Road #213 to the Lodge and Point Campground. The campground is located at the end of the road approximately 0.7 miles from the junction. This proposed procurement is under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, which is not a small business set-aside.
