- Work consists of furnishing all equipment, labor, materials and incidential items necessary to install equipment placed stacked rock, sloped rock riprap, reinforced earth, and stream barbs along Trout Creek, Barbour Brook, Spencer Brook, Chamberlain Brook, and Dryden Brook. The approximate dimensions for the 1st site stacked rock wall will be 6 ft total height by 60 ft long, for the 2nd site stacked rock wall will be 7 ft total height by 50 ft long, for the 3rd site stacked rock will be 7 ft total height by 200 ft long, for the 4th site stacked rock wall will be 11 ft total height by 195 ft long, for the 4th site stacked wall will be 12 ft total height for 110 ft long, for the 5th site stacked wall with reinforced earth will be 11 ft total height rock and 8 ft reinforced earth for 40 ft, and 9 ft total height rock and 4 ft reinforced earth for 30 feet along with one stream barb, for the 6th site sloped rock riprap with a 9 ft total height and 325 ft long, for the 7th site stacked rock wall will be 10 ft total height for 115 ft long, for the 8th site sloped rock will be 10 ft total height by 90 ft. Estimate price range is $250,000 - $500,000. Competition is unrestricted in accordance with the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. Solicitation package will be available for download from this site on or before May 21, 2007. A prebid conference and site visit is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at the USDA NRCS field office, 44 West Street, Suite 1, Walton, NY. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded under sealed bidding procures. Davis Bacon wage rates apply.
