- Work consists of furnishing all equipment, labor, materials and incidential items necessary to install equipment placed sheet piling, plung pools, rock vanes, stacked rock riprap, and a j-hook along the West Branch Delaware River, East Brook, MacGibbon Hollow, and Feak Hollow. The approximate dimensions for the 1st site Sheet Piling shall be 130 linear feet, 2nd site plunge will be 35 ft by 50 ft by 8 ft depth, and 1 rock vane, for the 3rd site stacked wall shall be 11 ft total height by 40 ft long and a plunge pool of 35 ft by 50 ft with a 8 ft depth, for the 4th site a stacked wall 8 ft total height by 226 ft long, for the 5th site a j- hook and rock vane. Estimate price range is $250,000 - $500,000. Competition is unrestricted in accordance with the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. Solicitation package will be available for download from this site on or before May 30, 2007. A prebid conference and site visit is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at the USDA NRCS field office, 44 West Street, Suite 1, Walton, NY. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded under sealed bidding procures. Davis Bacon wage rates apply.
