- DESC: The U.S. Export Assistance Center (USEAC) intends to establish a purchase order for support services. These services will include support and report to the local USEAC Director in implementing and expanding the Rural Export Initiative (REI) Program and services to the local business communities in and around the Midwest Network services area in Minneapolis, MN. Services to begin on or about June 11, 2007 thru March 31, 2008. The Contractor duties are limited exclusively to the support of rural activities. Duties may include, but not be limited to the following: Minimum Requirements: 1) Work with local non-profit and governmental partners in rural communities to identify and recruit clients for rural events 2) Work with the Director to plan, coordinate, and recruit for special events. This includes selecting locations, communicating with vendors; creating marketing/promotional materials; and recruiting companies. 3) Assist with planning and coordinating of events involving officials from Headquarters 4) Update Client Management System by entering new rural clients and updating existing rural client records. 5) Design and distribute marketing materials for export-readiness seminars. 6) Canvass for rural successes.
