Description
SOURCES SOUGHT The Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Federal Protective Service intends to negotiate a sole source basis with Nine One One Inc. to acquire Preventative Maintenance on the Nine One One Telephone System at the Denver Mega Center located in Denver, Colorado with the characteristics as follows: 1) Telephone Hotline Support consisting of remote technical support provided by skilled personnel including telephone assistance for general questions, remote maintenance, troubleshooting and repair. Responses within 30 minutes from the call for service, and help desk assistance available Monday-Friday; 0800-1700, Mountain Time. 2) Distribution and installation of updates to the proprietary E-911 software on all servers and workstations. 3) Recertification that the equipment used by the Denver Mega Center is compatible with the E-911 software. The proposed action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a). The Government believes that only one responsible source can provide the services that will satisfy the agency requirements. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. Firms that believe they can provide the required services described above are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer. Supporting evidence shall be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. All responses received within 2 days of the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
