Description
Aircraft Maintenance Kit applicable to F-5 and F-15 aircrafts. This acquisition is for NSN: 4920-00-601-5156RN, part number: 2-76060-1. The maintenance kit is used to affect repairs to the honeycomb structure of the F-5 and F-15 aircrafts. General characteristics of the item are as follows: overall length ? 45?, overall width ? 24?, overall height ? 36.5?. The kit consists of a rolling cabinet with tools, a vacuum pump, and specialized adhesives/materials for composite repair. No surplus will be accepted for this requirement. This requirement will be set-aside 100% for small businesses. It will consist of a basic quantity of 2 ea and 4 option years with a quantity of 1-5 ea per year. All assets will be shipped FOB Destination with inspection and acceptance at Origin. Delivery schedule is 180 days ARO award. Multiple shipping locations are involved. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit and detailed instructions contained in the RFP. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Offers will be evaluated based on past performance and price. The Performance Information Retrieval System-Statistical Reporting (PPIRS-SR) program will be utilized in the evaluation of past performance. OFFERORS ARE STRONLY ENCOURAGED TO REVIEW THEIR DATA FOR ACCURACY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Evaluation may also include input from the cognizant DCMA Administrative Contracting Officer/Industrial Specialist and/or thru conduct of Pre-Award Survey. It is anticipated that the RFP will be released on or around 07 May, 2007. The RFP will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities webpage (http://www.fbo.gov/ ). The technical data required to respond to the RFP may be obtained at the FEDTEDS webpage (https://www.fedteds.gov/). All vendors are required to register via FEDTEDS for an account in order to access the technical data.
