- This is a Sources Sought Notice only. No solicitation is being issued at this time. For reference purposes, the Request for Quotation, when issued, will be numbered FA2517-07-T-6041. The amount of information available for publication at this time is limited. The solicitation, when issued, will be a Combined Synopsis Solicitation. Quotes will be evaluated and awarded to the offeror with the lowest price technically acceptable. The 21st Contracting Squadron at Peterson Air Force Base (PAFB), Colorado, seeks potential sources to perform Packing, Containerization and Local Drayage Services for Southwest Colorado, Southeast Colorado and Southwest Kansas, and the Air Force Academy for Cadet moves. Contractors will be given the opportunity to quote a portion of the contract (i.e. the Southwest Colorado portion, Southeast Colorado and South West Kansas portion, or the Air Force Academy for Cadet move portion of the contract), or the entire contract for all of the regions. It is anticipated that the contract performance period will total five years, with a base period of one year, with four option periods, exercised at the unilateral right of the Government. The Government is contemplating award of a Requirements contract. Information on requirements contracts may be found in FAR 16.503 at http://farsite.hill.af.mil. There are a number of certifications that will be required during quote submittals. Those specific certifications will be indicated on the combined synopsis solicitation. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code we anticipate using is 488991, Packing and Crating. The requirement will most likely be a small business set-aside. It is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the site frequently for any updates and amendments to any and all documents. All potential offerors are reminded, in accordance with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration, lack of registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) will make an offeror ineligible for contract award. This Sources Sought Notice is also issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. All businesses capable of providing these services are invited to respond. Any information provided by industry to the Government as a result of this sources sought synopsis is voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this sources sought synopsis.
