AMENDMENT TO SOLICITATION NUMBER W912L207T9017 THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS WERE SUBMITTED BY INTERESTED PARTIES: 1) How many and what pound rated axle(s)? Two axles, each rated at 3,500 pounds. 2) Trailer constructed of steel or aluminum and color of paint if any? Aluminum construction, no paint required. 3) Is the trailer hitch pintel or ball and diameter of ball? Hitch is a 7,000 lb. 2 ball type. 4) What kind of wiring connector type for trailer lights? A standard 4 pin DOT approved plug. 5) Do you want a regular bulb or LED trailer lighting? LED trailer lighting. 6) What is the maximum tongue weight of trailer? 7,000 lbs. 7) Is the jack included on trailer tongue? Jack must be included. 8) Is the water tank to be baffled? The tank must be baffled. 9) Do you want 50 of 1 fire hose rigid rubber or soft polyester single or double jacketed hose? Polyester double jacketed hose. 10) What kind of nozzle on fire hose and gallonage of nozzle if required? Must be capable of 106 PSI. 11) Is the requirement of 60-70 GPM delivered at the end of 50 of 1 hose at what PSI? At the end of the 50 hose at 106 PSI. 12) How many total outlets required 1 for hose reel and ? garden hose? One for the 1 hose reel and one for ? garden hose. 13) No inlets required, only top hatch on tank for fill? None required, just top hatch. 14) It is not specific on if the tank can be plastic or steel. Just repairable. If you want steel what gauge? Tank can be either polyethylene or steel. Minimum of 12 gauge steel. 15) Do you want the unit to have a baffle in it? See question # 8. 16) How do you want the fill on the trailer done? It must be on the top. 17) What type of fire hose adapter? It must have a 1 ? adapter. 18) The bid requires a Hose Reel, and a Hose holder. Is that the same thing or do you want both? It must have a heavy duty hose reel with 100 of 1 ID hose and a Fire Hose Holder with 50 of 1 ? fire hose. 19) Do you want a fill pipe? Yes, a fill pipe is necessary. 20) One more question, what type of hitch do you want? See question # 3. 21) How will the water trailer be filled? It will need a breakaway hydrant fill pipe. 22) Is there a need for a quick couple fitting for pressurized filling? Yes, this will be required. 23) Is there need for anti-siphon fill from municipal water systems? Yes, this is needed. 24) Is there need for a fill hose and strainer for filling from tanks, ponds, or streams? Yes, it will be filled from these sources. 25) The bid mentions a Fire Hose Holder and a Heavy Duty Hose Reel. What hose is to be mounted on the hose reel? See question # 18. 26) Is a fire hose nozzle to be included? If so, are there any specifications? A hose nozzle will be needed for washing equipment and firefighting.
