- Market Survey for a Remote Armaments Camera Response Date: June 18, 2007 CONTACT: Contract Specialist, Courtney-Lynn Barnes Phone:973-724-2186 Email: Courtney.Barnes2@us.army.mil The US ARMY ARDEC, Optics and Small Arms Fire Control Branch, Picatinny NJ is seeking product information on Camera technologies that can be integrated into an Unmanned Small Arms Fire Control System. The Camera is desired to process real time images and provide the imagery to the fire control system display. It is desired that the system communicate via ethernet, serial or USB protocols and output video or still images in a standardized digital format. The camera will need to be used inside buildings and outdoors, will need to provide recognizable imagery up to 5km and possess some weatherization and ruggedization. Other technical characteristics for consideration include: 1. Resolution 2. Frame Rate 3. Coordinated zoom and focus 4. Size and Weight 5. Power consumption 6. User interface 7. Ability to integrate Firms/companies are invited to indicate their capabilities by providing specifications, brochures, manuals, reports, demonstration video and other technical data as well as identification of current customers and rough indication of pricing for a single system. Any pricing data should be sent, if available and at no cost to the US Government by June 18, 2007 to the US Army ARDEC.
