- The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Quick Compliance, Inc., 8A Canal Court, Avon CT 06001 for a 12 month subscription to Quick Compliance Health Insurance Portability and Acc ountability Act (HIPAA) Content Software License which through a previous contract, has been significantly customized to meet the needs of the Military Health System (MHS). Quick Compliance Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Conte nt Software while initially commercial off-the-shelf has been since altered to meet changing Government requirements. No solicitation document exists. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated capability is invited to submit written notification to the Contract Specialist by 21 May 2007 at 12PM EST. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the firm's ability to provide the stated capability. Information can be sent to Charles Bartlett, 820 Chandler Street, Fredr ick MD 21702 or at charles.bartlett@amedd.army.mil. No telephone requests will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated; however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is so lely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, USAMRAA will proceed with the sole source contract.
