Description: Unrestricted, full and open competition to provide all labor, material, supplies, and equipment to construct 11.2 miles of various styles of fence - 3-strand barbed wire interior (4.13 miles), 4-strand barbed wire boundary (6.6 miles), new jack leg (.42 miles), and repair existing jack leg fence (.64 miles). The Government will provide the material required for all of the new jack leg effort. In addition, 10.70 miles of fence is required to be removed. The location of the work is Blackfoot Valley Wildlife Management Area (WMA), located approximately 65 miles from Missoula, MT on Highway 200. Site visit arrangements can be made with the Project Leader/On Site Inspector Kevin Ertl at the H2-O Waterfowl Production Area, 967 Marshlane, Helmville, MT 59843 telephone number 406-793-0050 email kevin_ertl@fws.gov. The period of performance is 90 calendar days. Liquidated damages in the amount of $175 per day will be applicable. The applicable NAICS code is 238990; the small business size standarad is $12 million. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Solicitation to be issued on or about 29 May 2007. Offers due 30 days later or about 29 June 2007. Bid guarantee and performance and payment bonds required.
