Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 5, will be requesting bids from qualified and eligible firms capable of providing all labor, equipment, and materials to renovate the garage portion of an existing building located at the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge in Harding Township, New Jersey into a conference space, complete and ready for use as shown on Government-provided contract drawings and specifications. The work includes renovation of a portion of an existing building, utility upgrades, associated site improvements, and outbuildings removal. The magnitude of the project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The NAICS is 236220 and the small business size is $31 million. This is an unrestricted procurement and all responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered. The solicitation package will be mailed to all requestors on May 29, 2007 with a bid opening scheduled for June 28, 2007. The solicitation package will not be available on the internet. Bidding documents and a CD-Rom containing the drawings and specification for this job are available without charge and should be requested in writing to the above address: Attention: Carol Bloem, Contracting Officer. TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. However, FAX requests will be accepted at (413) 253-8450. Any requests for a solicitation package must include the company name, address, telephone and fax numbers, point of contact, and should reference the solicitation number and title above. In order to be eligible for award, all responsible sources submitting bids are required to be registered as an active vendor in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (www.ccr.gov) by the closing date of the solicitation. Prospective contractors must complete electronic annual representations and certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration in the CCR.
