Description

This synopsis provides notice of the Government?s intent to solicit a proposal on a sole source basis with General Dynamics C4 Systems, 8201 East McDowell Rd, PO Box 1417, Scottsdale, AZ 85252.. The contract type is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price commercial type contract. The Contract Line Item Numbers and descriptions are: CLIN 0001 P/N 01-P49340M112 KY68 Card 4568 includes 4568 Card, Manual, 2CA9079-A12 Cables. This equipment will be used for the Digital Tech Control Upgrade project. These circuit boards will provide secure and non-secure dial-up connectivity between the Redcom IGX switch and the TA-954, TA-1034 or TA-1042 Digital Non-secure Voice Terminal tactical phones and TSEC/DY-68 Digital Secure Voice Terminal tactical phones of the Tri-Service Tactical and Mobile Subscriber Equipment networks. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, General Dynamics C4 Systems is the only known source capable of satisfying the Government?s minimum requirement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, responsible interested parties may submit a proposal in which they identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Government will consider all information received by 21 May 2007, 1600 EST. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
