- This synopsis provides notice of the Government?s intent to solicit a proposal on a sole source basis with SWE-Dish Satellite Systems located at 12343 Sunrise Valley Drive, Suite D, Reston, VA . The contract type will be firm fixed price. The Contract Line Items are CLIN 0001 SWE-DISH P/N DA150K- KU-Band Digital Video-1 each; and -CLIN 0002 DA150K- Options-1 each : 1x Bridge Computer to provide IP bridge between vehicle LAN and communications modem to IP store and forward file transfer; IPT compatible software and a 4 port Ethernet switch; one unit configured for reception from an IPT and the other configured for transmission to the earth station; Rohde & Schwarz FSH3 hand held Spectrum Analyzer with frequency range of 100 KHz to 3 GHz; battery; car charger, and carrying bag. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the Swe-Dish DA150K (with listed options) is the only system that can provide the required satellite providers licensing and terminal commissioning support within the European theater of operation. Also, the Swe-Dish DA 150K is the only system that will maintain the current logistical footprint and configuration management of the systems architecture in which it operates. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334220 with a size standard of 750 people. Award is expected to be 1 June 2007. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS; however, responsible interested parties may submit information in which they can identify interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Government will consider all responses received by 3:30 PM EST on 22 May 2007. The Government reserves the right to process the procurement on a sole source basis based upon the responses received. The Government will not pay for any information received. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency.
