Description

The United States Coast Guard, Maintenance and Logistic Command, Pacific, Alameda, CA, proposes to contract the unplanned dockside repairs of USCGC 41? Utility Boat, home moorage in San Diego, CA. All work shall be at the cutter?s facility during the period of 08 July 2007 through 20 July 2007. Work items to include: hull coating (freeboard) preserve 100% in water. On or about 18 November, a Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This is a Total Small Business set-aside procurement, Therefore, only certified 100% small business contractors may submit a bid. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 336611 with a size standard of less than 1,000 employees. Only one award will be made to the responsive, responsible bidder/quoter. The solicitation, specifications and other pertinent information will be posted at www.fbo.gov and www.fedteds.gov. In order to open and download the specifications offerors must be registered at www.FedTeds.gov. Offerors are encouraged to register immediately as authorization to access the documents may take up to 48 hours from the time of registration. Drawings may be requested through FedTeds.
