This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals ar e being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W9133L-07-T-0220 and will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Fe deral Acquisition Circular (FAC) 05-12. All responsible sources may submit a firm-fixed price (FFP) quote which shall be considered by the agency. Quote shall be labeled with the solicitation number. b. The Government intends to contract for an Internal Rescue Hoist (IRH) on UH-60A/L Medical Evacuation (MEDEVAC) Helicopter (AWR 1308). c. Contractor shall submit a quote for the following equipment repair list. All quotes should be marked valid through midnight of August 30, 200. Quotes should be for the specific equipment item as approved by HQ USAAMCOM for use on UH-60A/L Medical Evacuation (MEDEVAC) Helicopter (AWR 1308). Quotes for any other equipment will not be considered. Quoted prices should include all CONUS shipping costs. Quotes will be evaluated based on technical/best price. If a quote fails to meet any of the instructions in this solicitation then it will be set aside and not considered. d. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to OfferorsCommercial Items, applies to this acquisition. e. Offeror is required to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. f. The source is Goodrich Inc. This is a sole source requirement because Goodrich, Inc. is the only know source for the required HQ USAAMCOM approved equipment. 20.
