Description

NEW MEXICO NATIONAL GUARD, ALBUQUERQUE READINESS CENTER, ADD/ALT (ADRS), BERNALILLO COUNTY, NEW MEXICO (PROJECT No. 350116). The proposed procurement is unrestricted, open to both large and small business concerns. NAICS is 236220/SIC 1522, with a s ize standard of $31,000,000.00. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.00. Bonding will be required for this acquisition. The bidders attention is directed to Section 00100 in the Solicitation for information regarding the tour of the site. Plans will be issued on or about May 30, 2007, with bids due on or about July 3, 2007. This solicitation will not be issued on paper. WORK CONSISTS of the addition and alternation to the New Mexico National Guards Albuquerque Readiness Cente r located at 600 Wyoming Blvd. NE. The new addition to the Readiness Center is a one story, steel-framed structure approximately 14,500 square feet in size, housing training and ambulatory medical clinic facilities for Army National Guard Medical Detachme nt 4. The new addition includes interior finishes, mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, natural gas) and electrical (including LAN, telephone, fire alarms) services. Outside supporting facilities include military and privately owned vehicle parking and access road s, fencing, walks, exterior fire protection, electrical, communications and water and sewer service, and landscaping. Alterations consist of connections to the existing Readiness Center and remodeling of a storage room into a kitchen. Kitchen equipment a nd office furniture are not included in the project. This project will be advertised as an Invitation For Bid. Proposed procurement will result in a firm fixed price contract.
