- Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Philadelphia, intends to acquire the following for LSD-41 and 49 Class Ships: (1) Power Management Platforms (PMP) systems, P/N 9900-1008, Est. Qty. 55; (2) Control Actuators, P/N 9900-552, Est. Qty 220; (3) Control Actuator, P/N 9900-525, Est. Qty. 55; (4) Control Actuator, P/N 9900-526, Est. Qty. 55; (5) Control Actuator, P/N 9900-527, Est. Qty. 55; (6) Control Actuator, P/N 9900-528, Est. Qty 55 and (7) PMP Software and Updates. Delivery of supplies shall be twelve weeks after award. The required PMP systems and control actuators will be procured by placing a firm-fixed-price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract with the Woodward Governor Company, 1000 East Drake Road, Ft. Collins, CO 80525. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and cap ability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 15 days after date of this publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
